It is not a sure thing. Some have doubts about whether Breshad Perriman can live up to the first-round hype. Maxx Williams is arguably the most NFL ready player in this class and fills the Ravens most pressing need as well. Carl Davis was a steal in the third round. Javorius Allen could get some playing time. Za’Darius Smith, Tray Walker, Robert Myers and Darren Waller are all projects with terrific upside.
Draft Grade: A-
What you cannot argue is that Ozzie entered this draft with a plan and came out a winner once again. He filled every one of the Ravens needs, and had to give up just one draft choice to accomplish the deed. To make it bitter sweet, the trade up to acquire Williams snatched him away from the rivaled Pittsburgh Steelers.
