Baltimore Ravens: Predicting the 53-Man Roster
By Joe Serpico
The NFL Draft has come and gone, and the Baltimore Ravens concluded their rookie minicamp. With that, we generally know what the 2015 Ravens team will look like.

Reports coming out of the Under Armour Performance Center are that Breshad Perriman caught everything that came his way. Nick Boyle is an intimidating presence. Darren Waller is just a freak with his size. Julian Wilson’s leg injury was the only blow this weekend.
How do the rookies fit in with the current makeup of the roster?
After scouring the web over the weekend, there was a lot of talk about how the final 53-man roster will look when the Ravens take the field on Sept. 13 against the Denver Broncos.
Logically, I had to get in on the fun.
Some of the picks are no-brainers to make the squad, but I found myself struggling to actually fill out the roster. I came up with 47 players in my original depth chart and had to plug in guys that I honestly do not know will make the team. It’s hard to judge the fringe guys when we have not seen this rookie and undrafted class perform on the field yet. There are always camp surprises and at this point, we just do not know with some of these guys.
Dennis Pitta‘s uncertain future certainly throws a wrinkle into the entire situation. I do not think the Ravens will open the season with four tight ends, so Nick Boyle is a candidate for the practice squad if Pitta does make his return to the field.
Personally, I see a slew of moves coming once June 1 comes around. There is a strong possibility that a veteran corner is signed, and with the injury to Terrence Brooks, I see another safety possibly coming to Baltimore as well. A veteran lineman on each side of the ball coming into camp wouldn’t be a shock either.
Those players are not here yet, so we have to go with the group that the Ravens currently have on the roster. So without further ado, here is my prediction of the Ravens final 53-man roster:
QB: Joe Flacco, Matt Schaub
RB: Justin Forsett, Lorenzo Taliaferro, Javorius “Buck” Allen
