Finding wide receivers has always been a struggle for the Baltimore Ravens. Here are the grades for their performance during the 2015 season.

2015 Grades: QB | RB | WR | TE | OL | DL |

The Baltimore Ravens have struggled for years to find consistency at the wide receiver position and it was no different during the 2015 season.

We asked if this was the worst receiving corps in franchise history after Steve Smith went down with a torn Achilles tendon against the San Diego Chargers. In large part, that answer was a resounding yes.

The Ravens did find themselves a real threat on the outside in Kamar Aiken. Following the injury to Smith, he took over for the veteran admirably as the team’s No. 1 receiver. He obliterated his previous career highs and looks to have found himself a home in the NFL.

The rest of the wide outs did nothing, and that is being polite. Jeremy Butler had some moments. Marlon Brown could not make the leap we anticipated. Super Bowl XLIX star Chris Matthews did little in a Ravens uniform. Chris Givens was a wasted loss of a draft pick. And the biggest blow of them all, first-round pick Breshad Perriman did not take a single snap in 2015.

As I am sure you are aware, Baltimore was decimated by injuries at the position so several players did not even get graded that were a part of this team. Michael Campanaro, Darren Waller, Daniel Brown and Jeremy Ross all caught passes for the Ravens, but their names are not a part of this list because none hauled in over 10 receptions.

Baltimore got some great news with Smith announcing he would return next season. It would behoove the Ravens to also bring back Aiken with the remaining receivers not making much of an impact this season. Otherwise, the Ravens need to overhaul the entire group so that Joe Flacco has better weapons to work with.
