Baltimore Ravens: Five Keys to Victory vs. St. Louis Rams
By Joe Serpico
Ravens Offensive Line vs. Rams Defensive Line
St. Louis has one of the most dominant defensive lines in all of football and will be a big test for the Ravens O-line that is battling injuries. Starting center Jeremy Zuttah was placed on injured reserve this week and John Urschel will start at center. The Rams’ line has to be licking their chops knowing an inexperienced player will be at one of the key positions on the offensive line.
Aaron Donald, last season’s Defensive Rookie of the Year, is quickly becoming one of the more dominating interior linemen in the game. He’s already accounted for six sacks, 10 quarterback hits and 24 quarterback pressures this season and will be right in the face of Urschel all game long. The Ravens are going to need Marshal Yanda and Kelechi Osemele to help Urschel on the inside, but that’s not all for the Rams.
Defensive ends Chris Long and Robert Quinn are a menace as well and Eugene Monroe and Ricky Wagner are in for a battle. Expect to see the Ravens to use their tight ends quite a bit to block and chip the Rams pass rushers.
