Washington Wizards NBA 2K League Releases New Jersey and Court Designs
The Washington Wizards NBA 2K league, Wizards District Gaming Club, has delivered new court and jersey designs as their inaugural season begins.
According to the NBA 2K League official website, 17 teams will take part in the NBA 2K league, which is set to begin May 2018, including the Washington Wizards District Gaming (DG) team.
As the best 2K players take part in the esports league created by the NBA and publishers of NBA 2K, Take Two Interactive comes new jerseys and court designs.
First, let’s start with the finalized court designs released via Twitter:
The court design is a completely new look compared to the current Washington Wizards court design. The featured logo at center-court represents the District of Columbia flag with the three starts.
Another design that really stands out is the five red points from huge red star underneath the hardwood with five points exhibited around the court.
Next are the Wizards DG Icon and Association jerseys that are sponsored by Jordan. The Icon jersey is dominated by its red color and Wizards DG along the shorts. The Association jersey is essentially the same design as the Icon but has more of a home jersey feel.
Both the jerseys and the court design seem to be inspired by the new Washington Wizards District jersey by NIKE which was unveiled this past season.
The Wizards DG will kick off their season on May 2 at 5:00 p.m. ET as they face the Jazz Gaming team.
