Baltimore Ravens: 10 Wide Receivers to Target in NFL Draft
By Ben Palmer
8. Jordan Lasley – UCLA
Jordan Lasley was easily UCLA’s best receiver last year, ending the season with 69 catches for 1,264 yards and nine touchdowns, all of which were significant improvements from his sophomore season with the Bruins.
Lasley’s biggest strength is his speed and elusiveness, projecting as a receiver that has the ability to create separation from NFL cornerbacks. He’s athletically gifted with good size (6’1″), but needs to work on his catching ability a bit.
There’s also the question of the disciplinary issues he’s had in college, receiving a three-game suspension last year for violating team rules. That could make him fall a bit in drafts, making him an interesting pick in around the third or fourth round (assuming he falls that far).
