Baltimore Ravens: 10 Wide Receivers to Target in NFL Draft
By Ben Palmer
7. James Washington – Oklahoma State
If you look at James Washington, you might wonder why he’s a wide receiver and not a running back. He’s got the build of a running back, at 5’10”, 210 pounds, but he’s a very talented wide receiver, finishing last season with 74 catches for 1,549 yards and 13 touchdowns.
Looking at his size, you wouldn’t think he’s particularly fast, but that’s exactly his greatest strength, with an excellent ability to create separation. He’s got a good catching ability too, but he does have problems making defenders miss after the catch.
Washington has had some big plays during his time at Oklahoma State, and he could end up just about anywhere on the board, but I wouldn’t be shocked if the Baltimore Ravens were able to grab him in the third round or later.
