South Carolina. Sindarius Thornwell. 52. player. Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. Guard. 142

In-studio analyst for CBS Sports and Campus Insiders host Seth Davis presents Seth’s Draft House that covers his 2017 NBA Mock Draft with Sam Vecenie along with the return of Finch.

Predicted as a second-round draft pick and make an NBA team by Jay Bilas, Seth’s Draft House plants senior guard Sindarius Thornwell at No. 52 to the Washington Wizards. Ranked No. 47 overall by Vecenie, Thornwell averaged 21.4 points, 7.2 rebounds and 2.8 rebounds per game, earning him the SEC Player of the Year award.

Thornwell transformed into an NBA prospect his senior year and gained prestige while guiding South Carolina to their first Final Four appearance in school history.

Vecenie elaborates on how Thornwell, who stands at 6 feet 5 inches, carries an “NBA-ready physical profile” that may issue immediate production at the next level.

Despite being one of the older NBA prospects in this year’s draft, Thronwell’s ability to sink a spot-up shot and hit from beyond the arc makes him an intriguing choice for the Wizards.
