2. Figure out what to do with Otto Porter

Otto Porter had the best season of his career this past year as he averaged 13.4 points per game and shot 51.6% from the field, including an excellent 43.4% from three-point range.

He’s coming off of his rookie contract and he’s destined for a good payday, deservedly so. So the Wizards have to figure out what they’re doing with him, whether they’re going to give him the money he’s going to want, or let him go somewhere else.

If he does go elsewhere, they have Kelly Oubre in the wings, who proved himself to be a very capable player last year and will hopefully continue to develop. Plus, letting Porter go opens the door for the team to sign a big-name free agent.

However, if the team does end up trading Gortat, as has been rumored, all of a sudden some cap room opens up, making re-signing Porter a much more realistic possibility.

So the question is: do you let Porter go and run with Oubre, or do you sign Porter and invest in your big three of Wall/Beal/Porter?
