3. Sign a veteran

The Washington Wizards had an average age of 25.8, which made them the ninth-youngest team in the NBA, and the third-youngest team to make the playoffs.

Could that explain why the team went 19-22 on the road this past season? Possibly. What the Wizards need is a veteran, someone who can help lead the team with experience. As of now, Marcin Gortat is the oldest player on the team at 33 years old, and as I mentioned before, he may be traded eventually.

There will be plenty of veterans looking for a team this offseason, including players like Marreese Speights, David West, Raymond Felton, and CJ Miles, all of whom could be signed for relatively cheap and would provide a solid veteran presence on the team.
