4. August 9, 2011, vs. Chicago White Sox

Trailing by one run in the fifth inning, the Baltimore Orioles had Vladimir Guerrero come to the plate with two men aboard. The lead runner, Nick Markakis, had advanced to second on an error by shortstop Alexei Ramirez.

Additionally, the Orioles had scored all three of their runs just before the play seen in the video above.

Then, with Vladamir Guerrero batting, starter Gavin Floyd delivered the first pitch, and the Orioles put on a double steal.

Catcher A.J. Pierzynski threw to third base and umpire Phil Cuzzi called Markakis out.

The replay revealed Markakis’ left hand got in slightly before third baseman Brent Morel slapped the tag down.

As Buck walks away, he proceeded to kick dirt over third base.
