3. John Ross – Washington

John Ross will forever be enshrined in NFL combine history now that he’s broken Chris Johnson’s 40-yard dash record with his 4.22 time. That will likely firmly place Ross in the top-20 of the first round of the NFL Draft this year, and he’s deserving of that.

Ross has been compared to receivers like Brandin Cooks, Kendall Wright, and Will Fuller, though he could use to add some bulk to get to their level (he’s just 188 pounds).

Ross was exceptional at Washington last season, finishing the year with 81 catches for 1,150 yards and 17 touchdowns. He could easily be a massive threat in the slot for any NFL team. He also had good hands and is a solid route runner, which makes for a potentially lethal combination on the field.

Ross is already a popular pick in mock drafts for the Ravens, and it wouldn’t be a shock if the team elected to grab him and hope that he becomes what they had wanted Breshad Perriman to be.
