3. Baltimore Orioles* – Dexter Fowler*, Nolan Reimold, Dariel Alvarez, Joey Rickard

Major asterisk here, as I expect the Orioles to ink Fowler at any point now. All signs point to the deal taking place. Without Fowler, the Orioles would fall to fifth. Nolan Reimold, for those who are Oriole fans who frequent this page, know that I think Reimold could be a very solid player with regular playing time. As in, good enough he could be third on this list. But, he hasn’t proven it and hasn’t stayed healthy/got enough playing time to prove it.

As for Fowler, he is a career .267/.363/.418 hitter who in 2015 went .250/.346/.411 with 17 HRs, 29 2Bs, 8 3Bs, 46 RBIs, 102 R and 20 SBs. The Orioles would love that speed dimension in their lineup, and also someone who is a good on-base player.

Fowler has exclusively played CF in his career, but that won’t happen in Baltimore. He is someone who has rated negatively defensively in center field, but most believe he will be just fine in right field. In fact he would probably rate better than everyone but Betts defensively at RF in the AL East.
