JAMES HURST. E. . OL. Baltimore Ravens

Hurst was forced into the lineup early in the regular season due to the injuries to Monroe and it was a disastrous performance. Not only was he rated by Pro Football Focus as the worst tackle for Baltimore, but one of the worst in the NFL.

He was consistently beat by defenders and struggled in the running game as well. Not only did he play bad, but he got the quarterback hurt. It was Hurst that was pushed into Flacco’s knee and tore his ACL and MCL.

Hurst has one year remaining on his deal and it’s likely that the Ravens add another tackle at some point in the draft. He just has not gotten it done and the team found first hand how important it is to have a decent backup at left tackle. Barring some miraculous change in his play this offseason, he is released at some point before the season starts.
