Allen got off to a slow start to start the 2015 season, but has really picked it up over the past few weeks. Through the first four games, Allen had a mere 72 yards total for the season. In the month of October, he has amassed 145 yards and has seen his role expand in the offense with the injury to Lorenzo Taliaferro. He is averaging a very respectable 4.4 yards per carry and has shown flashes of brilliance when he’s been able to get into the open field.

The Ravens used a fourth-round pick on Allen with the hope that he could be the running back of the future. Justin Forsett has also gotten better as the season has gone on, giving the team a nice duo at running back. Expect Allen to continue to see an increase in reps as the season plays out. Forsett is considered to have fresher legs for a 30-year-old, but Allen is the more dynamic player going forward for Baltimore.
