Contain Michael Vick

The Ravens got a small blessing with the injury to Ben Roethlisberger. Big Ben was off to another terrific start to the season, but will now miss the next four to six weeks due to a MCL injury.

Enter Michael Vick. Once considered one of the most dangerous players to play the position, Vick has now been relegated to backup duties. He’s no longer the threat he used to be, but he is still one of the most athletic players at the position and can change the course of a game – for good or for worse – with one play. Vick and Roethlisberger are similar in a sense that both can make something out of nothing.

Vick has been with the Steelers for just over a month and has admitted to not having the entire playbook down yet. With just a few days to prepare, don’t expect Pittsburgh to try to overload their new signal caller. They will likely rely on his legs more than usual with the lack of preparation time, and the Ravens defense has to keep Vick in the pocket.
