There is no denying that Jones will forever be remembered in Baltimore for his contributions the year the Ravens won their most recent Super Bowl. After his release, we highlighted the top-5 moments of his Ravens career.

However, the $2.5 million in cap space the Ravens saved by cutting Jones is certainly justified. He is coming off a season in which he hauled in just nine receptions while also having five drops. He eventually lost his spot as the third wide receiver and his salary didn’t merit a spot as just a kick returner.

The San Diego Chargers have given the 30-year-old a two-year contract worth $5.5 million. That is a good chunk of change for someone who is primarily a special teams player.
