Leading the way for Oakdale was senior Adam Middlebrook who won the high jump at 6-02, while taking second place in the pole vault at 13-00. Also contributing five critical points in the pole vault was freshman George Stultz who placed fourth in 11-06.

Evan Kowalk added nine points to the team total beyond his two-point share in the final relay. He placed third in the 1600 in 4:33 while capturing sixth place in the 800-meter run.

Brett Tarzy gave Oakdale five points by placing fourth in the 3200 in 10:20.

And the final four Bears points came through the 800-meter relay team capturing fifth place.

One state 2A record was set. Breaking his own record from 2014 was Rico Gomez of Douglas-PG, winning the 500-meter run in 1:04.58 – surpassing his 1:05.35 of a year ago.  Gomez was also the state 2A victor in the 300 with a time of 34.85.
