Baltimore Ravens vs San Diego Chargers: Position by Position Grades

Joe Flacco was not the reason that the Ravens lost this game. He looked sharp throughout and was extremely efficient. He finished with a QB rating of 104.9 and topped a rating of 100 for the third straight week.

The numbers however, would show differently about Flacco’s performance. He only completed 19 passes on 31 attempts, and totaled just 225 yards. But that doesn’t tell the whole story. Aside from four dropped passes by Ravens’ receivers in this game, he made every throw that was there for him to make.

Flacco has had the best season of his career here in 2014. If he keeps this up, there is no doubt in my mind that the Ravens will make an appearance in the postseason.
