I cannot say enough about the job that Justin Forsett has done this season. He reminds me a lot of Ray Rice. He is a little guy, running at high speeds, showing great quickness, and exploiting tiny holes in the defense.

He eclipsed the 1,000-yard rushing mark for the first time in his seven-year career in this game, and we are only 12 games through the season. He has come out of nowhere and has performed better than any other running back in football. Who knows where the Ravens would be without him.

As for the backup running backs, it continues to puzzle me as to why the Ravens don’t give the ball to Lorenzo Taliaferro. Bernard Pierce rushed for just 16 yards on six carries in this game, and the rookie from Coastal Carolina failed to receive a single carry. Obviously the Ravens are seeing something that we aren’t in practice.
