Wil Hill vs Antonio Gates
Will Hill was absolutely fantastic last week against one of the best tight ends in the NFL in Jimmy Graham. It will be interesting to see if the Ravens give Antonio Gates the royal treatment that they gave Jimmy Graham.
Whether the Ravens give Gates extra attention or not, I believe the best way to stop him is to assign Will Hill to him. Hill, according to PFF, was the best in pass coverage on the Ravens last week. He had a very impressive 44-yard interception return for a touchdown which completely changed the momentum of the game, along with two pass deflections.

Gates has been pretty solid this season and will always be a very reliable target for Philip Rivers. The Chargers do not have the strongest receiving core. Keenan Allen has been average after his astounding rookie season. Malcolm Floyd and Eddie Royal are both very inconsistent but still need to be watched.
That leaves Gates for Rivers to throw to. I think if Will Hill can play the way he played last week, he can definitely win this matchup. Hill looks to be improving week to week, and I’m sure Ozzie Newsome is thinking of him as a guy who may have to be re-signed at this season’s end.
