Rookie C.J. Mosley put on display the best performance of his pro football career last week against Carolina. He was even better this week. He was flying all over the place, making his presence felt in the run game and the passing game on all sides of the field. He ended the day with a career-high 15 tackles, with eight of them being solo, plus a pass defended and his first career interception. This kid has a bright future ahead of him.

Fellow middle linebacker Daryl Smith also continued his nice start to the year, accumulating eight tackles on the day, second on the team only to Mosley. Courtney Upshaw also had a big game, recording five tackles and one tackle for a loss of yardage.

Terrell Suggs was a late addition to the active roster in this one, but neither hm or Dumervil made a very significant impact. They ended the day with three tackles combined and didn’t apply much pressure on Andrew Luck.
