Baltimore Ravens vs Indianapolis Colts: 3 Bold Predictions

Lorenzo Taliaferro will have the hot hand at running back

The Colts’ linebacker corps has good speed but not much size. This calls for the Ravens to feature the big guy, 226-pound Lorenzo Taliaferro.

Taliaferro has already shown the ability to break through arm tackles and churn out extra yards. The Ravens would be wise to wear out the Colts’ defense with Taliaferro’s bruising style, then emphasize Justin Forsett later in the game when the Colts are worn down.

Both could be in line for big games. Though the Colts are ranked 11th in the league in run defense, they have yet to play a quality ground game. This week, expect the Ravens to give the Colts’ defense its first true test on the ground, and expect the Colts to fail it.

So while I’m expecting quality games from both Forsett and Taliaferro, it will be Taliaferro who gets the enviable task of wearing down the Colts defense en route to his first 100-yard game.
