The line as a whole looked great, but one player that stood out was defensive tackle Brandon Williams. He made five tackles on the night, two for loss, and one quarterback hit. He also came up the middle on a Redskins 4th-and-one to force a turnover on downs. Let’s see how Brandon Williams performs in the regular season as he gets his first shot to start in the NFL.

Some other notables were Pernell McPhee, who recorded two tackles and one quarterback hit, and Timmy Jernigan, who recorded his first career sack.

Haloti Ngata totaled two tackles in this game as well.
