It’s a Terps defense reunion down in Miami! Corner back Isaac Goins will join former Maryland teammate A.J. Francis as he looks to make it on the Dolphins’ squad in 2014. When Dexter McDougle went down with a season-ending injury, Goins was next up to make plays on defense. He isn’t quite a Dexter McDougle, but he finished the year with 60 tackles, one sack and two interceptions. He’s a strong corner who makes quality tackles. Goins will have to come into practices ready to go just like he was ready to go when McDougle went down. In the NFL, if you’re not ready to play, you won’t play.
