Other: Mychal Givens, Tanner Scott, Miguel Castro

The Orioles also have some young pieces that other teams may have interest in for their bullpen.

Despite a rough year this year with a 4.02 ERA, Givens has been a key piece in the Orioles bullpen in recent years and knows how to pick up victories, with an 18-7 career record. The converted infielder knows how to field his position and is very athletic.

Givens has not reached his arbitration years yet and is not a free agent for several more years.

Scott is a power throwing lefty who has shown the ability to get outs in big situations and also has left up runs in situations through his 18 games this year. Scott deserves to be in the major leagues permanently, but the Orioles have had him riding the shuttle due to lineup and roster crunches.

He is not arbitration-eligible for a few more years even. I wouldn’t trade Scott. who could be the Orioles’ future closer, unless it is in a blockbuster, package deal, probably involving Manny Machado for a future ace.

Castro has been the workhorse of the Orioles bullpen in 2018. While his numbers aren’t quite as good, he has been a reliable piece and is still young. The Orioles could listen to offers here, but would be smart to retain Castro as well.

Chance of these three being traded: Five percent
