2. Atlanta Braves

Personally, I really like the idea of the Orioles making a trade with the Braves simply because they have so many good prospects they can trade—specifically pitching prospects.

Not only do they have Mike Soroka and Luiz Gohara—both of whom already have had a taste of the major leagues—but they’ve got Kyle Wright, Ian Anderson, Kolby Allard, Max Fried, loads of guys.

There are two potential problems though—first, this is another situation in which Manny would have to play third. Even though Dansby Swanson has struggled offensively this year, there’s no way the Braves are just gonna ditch him, especially when they have a mix of Johan Camargo and Ryan Flaherty at third base.

Second, the Braves aren’t necessarily a World Series contender right now. Certainly, they’re one of the most exciting teams in baseball to watch, with rookie phenoms Ozzie Albies and Ronald Acuna, not to mention star first baseman Freddie Freeman, but they need some serious bullpen help.

If they make a move for a solid closer (Zach Britton maybe? I’m just throwing it out there) and shore up their bullpen, a Machado trade could be possible.
