2. Ronnie Stanley – OT, 2016 NFL Draft

★★★★

Ronnie Stanley was taken by the Ravens out of the University of Notre Dame with the sixth-overall pick of the 2016 NFL Draft. To this point, Stanley has been a very successful tackle for the Ravens, something they’ve desperately needed.

Stanley’s a big guy, at 6’6″, 312 pounds, and he uses that to muscle defenders well. He started 12 games as a rookie and 15 games last year, and is likely to have the Pro Bowl nominations start rolling in sooner rather than later.

It’s good the Ravens got him too, because he and Marshal Yanda have been the two anchors in a somewhat inconsistent Ravens offensive line, and now that Ryan Jensen is gone, they’ll need Stanley and Yanda’s consistency more than ever.
