10. D.J. Moore – Maryland

The last time the Baltimore Ravens drafted a wide receiver out of the University of Maryland, it was Torrey Smith, and one hopes that D.J. Moore might be just as successful, if not more so.

Moore is, without a doubt, a talented receiver. He may be a little short for an NFL receiver (he’s 5’11”), but he’s got a thick build at 215 pounds. This past season with the Terps, Moore caught 80 balls for 1,033 yards, as Maryland made sure to get the ball in his hands.

Moore has good speed, fast enough to beat NFL defenders, and he has a strong burst too. If he has one weakness, it’s that he catches the ball with his body more than he should, though that’s something he can easily work on. And that’s not to say he doesn’t have good hands, he does.

Moore is very talented and could likely go later in the draft. If the Ravens choose not to draft a wide receiver early in the draft, they might be able to grab Moore in the later rounds.
