3. Boog Powell – 303 home runs

While he might be equally as well known today in Baltimore for his barbecue, Boog Powell was a force to be reckoned with during his time with the Baltimore Orioles.

Powell played for the Orioles from 1961 through 1974, eventually joining the Cleveland Indians and finishing his career with the Los Angeles Dodgers.

During his time in Baltimore, Powell earned four All-Star nominations, won two World Series, and won an AL MVP award.

While Powell won the MVP award in 1970, his best year offensively was arguably the year before, when he slashed .304/.383/.559 with 37 home runs, 83 runs, and 121 RBIs. This, compared to his MVP year when he slashed .297/.412/.549 with 35 home runs, 82 runs, and 114 RBIs.
