1. Jamal Lewis – 7,801 career rushing yards

This should really come as no surprise to any Baltimore Ravens fan. Jamal Lewis spend seven years with the Baltimore Ravens, with his rookie year being the Ravens’ first Super Bowl win in 2000.

During his rookie year, he supplanted running back Priest Holmes for the starting job and ran for 1,364 yards and six touchdowns on 309 carries, averaging 4.4 yards per carry. After sustaining a knee injury in training camp, Lewis missed the entirety of the 2001 season, however he came back for yet another 1,300-yard+ season in 2002.

His best season was 2003, however. A very memorable year for Ravens fans, as Lewis ran for 2,066 yards, at the time the second-most all-time behind Eric Dickerson (Lewis’ 2003 season is now third all-time as Adrian Peterson ran for 2,097 yards in 2012).

After the 2007 season, Lewis was released by the Ravens and signed with the Cleveland Browns. He went on to rush for two more 1,000-yard plus seasons before retiring after the 2009 season.

Throughout his career, Lewis earned just one Pro Bowl nomination in 2003, but also won the MVP award that year and was named offensive player of the year, as well as first-team All-Pro.
