2. Eric Ebron – TE, Detroit Lions

The Baltimore Ravens focus a lot of their offense on the tight end, they have for a long time. And when that tight end was Dennis Pitta, it worked out pretty well, because Pitta was perfect for that role.

But Pitta’s gone, and they’ve filled that role with a mix of Ben Watson, Maxx Williams, and Nick Boyle (with Watson leading that group). Watson is 37 years old, he’s good enough for the Ravens right now, but he’s not a difference maker.

Enter Eric Ebron. People have been talking about Ebron’s talent since he was drafted as the 10th-overall pick of the 2014 NFL Draft, but he hasn’t really done much. The Lions don’t really seem to trust him, especially in the red zone, which is where he could be most effective.

Ebron is 6’4″, 253 pounds, he’s a big dude and makes for a nice big red zone target. Moving to a new offense might help get Ebron back on track, and an offense that uses the tight end as much as the Ravens do could be perfect for him.
