The Baltimore Orioles have had plenty of great players over the years. Here are the top five all-time stolen base leaders for the team.

The Baltimore Orioles have had plenty of great players over the years, and even though lately stolen bases hasn’t exactly been the team’s greatest strength, the Baltimore Orioles have had plenty of great base stealers.

Here, we’ll take a look at the Orioles top five career stolen base leaders for the team. There are two important things to note about this list before we get started.

First, these stolen base numbers are the players’ career stolen base totals with the Baltimore Orioles. They may have gone to other teams and stolen more bases elsewhere, but we’re looking at the Baltimore Orioles’ career stolen base leaders.

Second, I did not include anyone from the days of the St. Louis Browns. If I had, the leader all time would be George Sisler who ended his career with 351 stolen bases, playing with the Browns (who later became the Baltimore Orioles) from 1915 to 1928.

I’m only including Baltimore Orioles players, so players who have been with the team since it’s creation in 1954. Had I included Browns players, along with Sisler, Burt Shotton, Jimmy Austin, and Del Pratt would’ve all been included on the list as well.

Without further ado, here are the Baltimore Orioles’ top five career all-time career leaders in stolen bases.
