2. Players Linked in Past Orioles Rumors and Free Agent Talks

Feldman, Doug Fister, Matt Garza, Miguel Gonzalez, Hellickson, Holland, Mat Latos, Vargas, Tillman

Each of these guys has either played for the Baltimore Orioles in the past or have been linked in Orioles trade rumors and free agent conversations. I don’t think that Latos or Garza would still interest the Orioles, however, I think each of the others would.

Feldman has had a rebound season. Fister has been phenomenal as of late for Boston. The Orioles just tried to bring back Miguel before the Sept. 1 deadline. Hellickson I think will have interest from the Orioles.

Holland was another guy the Birds reportedly kicked the tires on this summer. Vargas has had an excellent year for the Kansas City Royals, albeit in a much bigger ballpark. Tillman had several years of success in Baltimore, and after 2017, may present him with his best offer.

Players With Injuries in 2017

Anderson, Cahill, Chacin, Chatwood, Medlen, Richard

I could be wrong here, but I think each of these guys has seen their 2017 season interrupted by injuries if they have pitched much at all. For a team that needs dependable arms, that would make it a tough sell for me.
