2. Gary Barnidge

In late April Gary Barnidge was released unexpectedly by the Cleveland Browns who are aiming to rebuild and gain more youth. Barnidge is still a free agent and could be a great pickup if the Ravens were able to sign him.

Barnidge burst onto the scene in 2015 at age 30 with hands down the best season of his career so far, piling up an impressive 1,000 receiving yards and scoring nine touchdowns while being elected to the Pro Bowl.

At the time Barnidge’s quarterback was a mix of Johnny Manziel and Josh McCown. Just imagine how much more impressing his numbers would be if he had Joe Flacco as his quarterback.

His numbers started to decline in 2016 mainly due to lingering quarterback problems. But, if the Baltimore Ravens did sign him, Barnidge would most certainly the best tight end on the team, and add some much-needed help to what was a lackluster passing offense last year.
