The Baltimore Ravens need a wide receiver, and while they could address that in free agency, they could also address it through a trade.

The Baltimore Ravens need a wide receiver, that’s no secret. It’s been one of the most-talked about topics for the team this offseason, and even more so now that they didn’t draft one early on in this year’s NFL Draft, nor did they sign one of the big-name free agents.

They did sign a few undrafted free agent wide receivers, two of whom, I believe, have a decent chance at making the team, but they’re far from sure things.

There were plenty of free agent wide receivers the Baltimore Ravens could have pursued, some speculated that Torrey Smith was due for a return to Baltimore, others thought perhaps Brandon Marshall was a good fit for the team, but the Ravens elected not to sign any free agent receivers.

They could still address this need via free agency. We’ve talked about how both Victor Cruz and Anquan Boldin could be good fits for the team, but they don’t necessarily have to sign either of them.

One option the Ravens could pursue is acquiring a wide receiver via trade. So in that spirit, here are four teams that could afford to trade a wide receiver to the Baltimore Ravens, should the team elect to go that route.
