Baltimore Orioles, Buck and the bullpen: An explanation for a rough week

Maybe Saturday would go better. The Orioles were still without Brach, who Buck wanted to give three days off, and O’Day.

Chris Tillman struggled mightily in this one, only making it 4.1 innings before being pulled for Asher. Asher left up one run in 2.2 innings, but let’s face it, this is the role he should be in. I’m ok with this.

The issue in this game was Nate Karns striking out 12 Orioles in five innings. He only got three outs that were not strikeouts! The Orioles then did nothing against the KC bullpen, and the series was lost.
