Highlights from the most compelling series in the 2017 NBA playoffs featuring the Washington Wizards vs Boston Celtics in Game 4 of the Eastern Conference semifinals.

All-Star point guard John Wall was phenomenal in Game 4, carrying the Washington Wizards past the Boston Celtics 121-102 to even the Eastern Conference second-round showdown at 2-2. Wall scored 27 points along with 12 assists for his sixth double-double of the 2017 NBA playoffs. The 26-year-old stayed confident despite missing his first nine shot attempts, displaying how much Wall has enhanced his play in his sixth year in the NBA.

Fourth-year player Otto Porter added 18 points, eight rebounds, and four steals, lifting his series points average to 16.5 points. With Wall missing his first nine field goals, Porter’s 10 first quarter points proved timely as he opened the game 4-of-5 from the field, including a 3-pointer to kickstart the Wizards.

Wizards shooting guard Bradley Beal scored a game-high 29 points after shooting 11-of-16 from the field, including an exceptional third quarter where he made 4-of-5 field goals for 11 points.

Trailing as much as 12 points in the second quarter, the Wizards jumped out to a commanding 26-point lead in Game 4, this time with the help of a 26-0 third quarter run. The run boosted the Wizards to 42 third quarter points, outscoring the Celtics by 22 points. Markieff Morris, Beal and Wall combined for 34 points in the third quarter, propelling the Wizards to a 90-68 lead heading into the final quarter.

After the Celtics Game 3 loss, a perplexed Gerald Green stated that the Celtics would beat the Wizards in Game 4. Well, after starting Game 3, Green was absent in the first half of Game 4 and played just a bit over nine minutes in the second half, transitioning to a much-reduced role.

The Wizards remain undefeated at Verizon Center this postseason, the place the Wizards went 30-11 during the regular season, good enough for the second-best home record in the East.

Amongst Wizards victories comes a collection of jaw-dropping highlights. Without further ado, here are the ultimate highlights from the Wizards Game 4 victory over the Celtics.

In closing, I’d like to inform all that most of the following highlights are generated from no one other than Wizards’ John Wall.
