Chris Wormley, DE, Michigan (Round 3, No. 74)

The overlooked Michigan defensive end Chris Wormley has continued to surpass expectations and throughout his career. Friday, he did it again after being drafted by the Baltimore Ravens with the No. 74 overall pick.

Nonetheless, Wormley stays within the Harbaugh family, going from Michigan football head coach Jim Harbaugh to Ravens head coach John Harbaugh. However, Wormley, who was a projected second-round draft pick, fell to the Ravens in the third round.

NFL draft analyst Charles Davis analyzed Wormley by stating:

"Obviously you have the connection with the Harbaugh brothers here. Chris Wormley is somebody made to be a five-technique at the next level. You’re gonna put him over at tackle and ask him to sit there and hold the point of attack with your length and strength and be able to push the pocket as a pass rusher. He’s a really, really good value pick."

Here is the instant reaction from the Ravens drafting Wormley:

Staff writer for the Ravens official website joked about the connection between the Harbaugh’s and Wormley.

The Ravens’ Twitter page revealed Wormley’s toughness and size.

Jeff Zrebiec illustrates how Wormley can make an immediate impact.
