The Washington Wizards featuring the mighty backcourt of John Wall and Bradley Beal head back home to Verizon Center for Game 5 against the Paul Millsap and the Atlanta Hawks Wednesday night as the series stands tied at 2-2 in the 2017 NBA playoffs.

The home team has outlived the away team in all four games of the Eastern Conference first-round playoff series as the Wizards look to continue the trend in Game 5 in the nation’s capital.

The ongoing beef between Markieff Morris and Millsap has suddenly shifted to a one-sided battle with Millsap completely dominating Morris in the last three games of the series. Since Game 1, Millsap is averaging more minutes, points, rebounds, assists and more. Most importantly, Millsap has played more efficient basketball than Morris, averaging just three fouls per game to Morris’ five fouls.

Among the silly trash talking is the four-time All-Star John Wall who is averaging an incredible 28.8 points along with 10 assists and shooting 50.7 percent from the field. Despite Wall grabbing his second double-double of the series with 22 points and 10 assists, the Wizards were unable to overcome Hawks’ Dwight Howard who muscled his way to 16 points and 15 rebounds.

Even though Game 4 didn’t go in favor of the Wizards, the team was relieved to see their budding shooting guard Bradley Beal snap out of his playoff slump. After shooting a miserable 6-for-20 from the field, along with 0-for-6 from beyond the arc, Beal unleashed his sharp-shooting ability, scoring a game-high 32 points.

Speaking of a slump, Wizards’ frontcourt of Otto Porter, Morris and Marcin Gortat all will attempt to break out of their subpar play as of late and help the Wizards regain the series lead before heading back to Atlanta for Game 6.
