Loss 2: April 11, 2017, vs. Boston Red Sox (4-2)

The Orioles’ second loss came in their next game, against the Boston Red Sox.

In this one, Dylan Bundy was fantastic, allowing only two sacrifice flies through the first six innings.

However, the seventh inning proved costly. The Orioles had just scored a run to make it 2-1 entering the bottom of the 7th. But, the Red Sox would score one off of Bundy and two more off of Darren O’Day to make it 5-1. One of those runs scored on an error by Craig Gentry.

Oliver Drake would go on to allow three more runs in the eighth inning, and the Orioles would lose 8-1 in their most lopsided defeat of the season.

The Orioles also made two errors in this game.
