The Baltimore Orioles are set to take on the Boston Red Sox at Fenway Park in the first matchup between the teams in 2017.

The Baltimore Orioles come in with a record of 4-1 after sweeping the Toronto Blue Jays in a two-game series and taking two of three from the New York Yankees.

The Red Sox swept the Pittsburgh Pirates at home to start the year in a weather-shortened two-game set and just finished losing three of four to the Detroit Tigers. The Red Sox sit at 3-3.

It has been a rough start to the season for the Red Sox, who have dealt with numerous players battling the flu, players on the disabled list and the bereavement list.

More from Baltimore Orioles

Most of the players seem to be recovered from the flu, with Hanley Ramirez expected to return to the lineup.

However, Jackie Bradley Jr. is now on the disabled list, another missing link for the Red Sox.

Drew Pomeranz is making his season debut on Tuesday, facing Dylan Bundy. Pomeranz’s numbers against the Orioles are not good, and the Orioles will try to keep it that way.

However, the Oriole bats have not been as active as one might expect so far this season. Of course, the Red Sox only have three home runs in six games so far.

So, what are the keys to the series?
