3.  Tampa Bay Rays

Tampa Bay Rays’ SPs: Chris Archer, Jake Odorizzi, Alex Cobb, Blake Snell, Matt Andriese, Jose de Leon, Chase Whitley

The Rays’ rotation, as usual, features some good young pitchers who could be great. Archer already is great, and if the World Baseball Classic is any indication, looks primed to rebound from a year in which he struggled somewhat.

Odorizzi continues to be a central part of the rotation, and Cobb is healthy entering 2017. Snell, who saw some time in the majors in 2016, will now be a regular part of the rotation, with Andriese battling with de Leon and Whitley for the last spot. Andriese has been excellent in spot starting duty, and I would expect him to win the job.

For some, these names may not be the stellar ones that you will see ahead of them, but this should be a very solid pitching year again for the Rays.
