Boston Red Sox’ RFs – Mookie Betts, Chris Young, Brock Holt, Bryce Brentz

If you are surprised by number one, well, I’ve got nothing. Betts was an All-Star, second in the MVP race, a Gold Glove winner, a Silver Slugger, and single-handed destroyer of Oriole pitching.

Betts hit .318/.363/.534 with 31 HRs, 42 2Bs, 113 RBIs, 122 runs, 26 stolen bases, a league leading 359 total bases and only 80 strikeouts.

Betts had the second highest WAR (behind only Mike Trout, of course), 6th best offensive WAR, 2nd best defensive WAR (behind Kiermaier), 2nd best batting average (Altuve), 2nd most hits (Altuve), 3rd most doubles, 4th most RBIs, etc. You can see where this is going. It was a fantastic season.

Defensively, Betts rates fantastically. He has great range; his total fielding runs above average was 20, his defensive runs saved was 32. Just fantastic.

Next: Baltimore Ravens add veteran CB

Young and Holt will be OF backups, but Betts will play most games in RF.
