Baltimore Orioles: Will Orioles’ Machado outshine Blue Jays’ Donaldson in 2017?

1. Baltimore Orioles

Baltimore Orioles’ third basemen – Manny Machado, Ryan Flaherty, Robert Andino, Paul Janish, Chris Davis (1B)

As previously stated, Machado comes it at number one. When you are back to being compared to Bryce Harper and Mike Trout, you are one of the best players in the league.

The questions surrounding Machado and his continual improvement involve taking more walks and cutting down on strikeouts, and how long he continues to play third base.

Machado is still considered to be just as good at shortstop as he is at third base. When J.J. Hardy is forced to miss at least a week of time, which at his advanced age is occurring more and more, Machado usually shifts over to shortstop.
