Baltimore Orioles Opening Day 2017 is just 40 days away, and injuries have already mounted as the Orioles roster continues to develop throughout spring training.

The Baltimore Orioles have seen several players deal with injuries early in camp, but how important are those injuries in the grand scheme of the season?

Intrasquad games are just one day old, and we already have a rain out. Hopefully, it is just the Florida weather and not an omen to come.

The Orioles currently have four players dealing with injuries. So, let’s examine how worrisome those injuries are, on a scale of 0 to 10.

Logan Ondrusek, RP

Baltimore Orioles’ pitcher Logan Ondrusek is dealing with a minor ankle injury, and it sounds like one of those where if the season were taking place, he would probably miss a few days, but not require a DL stint.

However, with many of the recent additions to the roster, such as Vidal Nuno and Richard Bleier, it makes it a long shot that he will make the roster. Since the O’s were able to negotiate an option, Ondrusek will likely be one of several who it appears will ride the Norfolk shuttle in 2017.

Worry level – 0/10
