The Baltimore Ravens have their work cut out for them this offseason, as the team finished a disappointing 8-8 this past season. Here are five areas that the team needs to address this offseason.

The Baltimore Ravens had a disappointing season in 2016. They finished the year 8-8, and failed to make the playoffs for the third time in four years. This was largely due to a mediocre, at best, offense that was incredibly inconsistent.

The Ravens finished the season 21st in the league in scoring (21.4 points per game), 17th in yards per game (347.7), and 28th in touchdowns (32). The team showed they need balance, as they finished the year with the most passing attempts in the NFL (679) but the third-fewest rushing attempts (367), a franchise low.

With the retirement of wide receiver Steve Smith and the surprise retirement of linebacker Zach Orr, along with an aging linebacker corps and an uncertain running game, there are a lot of areas the Baltimore Ravens need to address this offseason.
