6. Charles Harris – Missouri

Charles Harris is a fast edge rusher with good size (6’3″, 260 pounds). He’s got an excellent first step and is exceptionally adept at getting after the quarterback.

Harris is able to get past offensive tackles just based on his pure speed alone, and that, nor size, is something you can teach. His pass rush is excellent, however his run defense could use a little work.

He’s an excellent finisher and shows great awareness, he’s able to read and react to just about any play with quickness. As Harris improves his game, he would fit really well as a 3-4 outside rusher.

They always say you can’t teach speed, and if Harris is able to improve on his technical abilities, he could end up being a top-notch NFL OLB. He’ll likely go in the late first round, but if he falls to the second round, he could be one of the better values in this year’s NFL Draft.
