NFL Draft: Top 10 outer linebackers the Ravens should target

7. Dawuane Smoot – Illinois
Dawuane Smoot is one of the outside linebackers who’s just constantly a disruptive force on the line. He may not be a player who ends the season with a ton of sacks, but he’s going to be a constant thorn in the side of any opposing quarterback, because he’s always going to be in their face.
Standing at 6’3″, 255 pounds, Smoot is explosive off the edge and had a pretty solid season in 2016 for Illinois. He finished the year with 56 tackles, 15 tackles for loss, five sacks, two forced fumbles and one batted pass.
Smoot is very athletic and projects to be a late-first round pick, or possibly an early second-round pick.
