1. John Wall’s game-winning shot against the Chicago Bulls

The Washington Wizards hosted the Chicago Bulls without the service of their star players Dwyane Wade and Jimmy Butler, but that didn’t seem to hinder the Bulls play. The Wizards trailed the Bulls the entire third quarter and for the majority of the fourth.

The game took a dramatic shift for the Wizards after Bulls’ Denzel Valentine hit a 27-foot step back three point shot then proceeded to perform a celebratory dance as the Wizards called timeout with 7:37 remaining.

Wall took note of Valentine’s actions, and according to CSN’s Chris Miller, Wall told the Bulls rookie, “That’s how you feel? You woke a monster.”

Following the timeout, the Wizards rushed back, led by a motivated Wall, who tied the game at 99 with 47 seconds left. Then, with the game still knotted at 99, Wall hits the game-winning shot with five seconds remaining to lift the Wizards past the Bulls.

Surprisingly, Wall’s game-winner against the Bulls was his first game-winning shot under five seconds in his career.
